Journaling has been a practice that brought about the most growth for me and helped me be more open to reflecting on my thoughts and processing them.
Learning that capturing my thoughts doesn’t need to follow the Dear Diary format, capturing the minutiae of the day while skirting over the feelings, was a helped crack things open for me.
Using more of a stream-of-consciousness outpouring (or less elegantly word vomiting) on the page helps me tap into what I really need to unravel from my head in order to feel clarity, calm or just mental quiet.
To make things easy for you, I created a guide that walks you through how to start your own journaling practice, no fancy journal required (in fact I recommend a plain notebook or legal pad).
